In 2014 it was announced that after a 4 year battle from club president Terry Nicholls and it's members, Northern BMX Track was finally given $200,000 to be redeveloped.

To this day the track remains untouched... Cr Mary Lalios from Whittlesea Council assures us it will go ahead, but at this stage we are yet to hear when.

Council states they need to allocate more funding for a pavilion which the proposal will be in this years budget, but when will the track works start?

We need this track started now and the funding finalised to ensure the Northern Suburbs can become a part of this Nationally Recognised Olympic Sport again. 

Parents/Riders are travelling hours per week for training and club races due to the lack of commitment by Whittlesea Council on this Redevelopment. 

Whittlesea Council, please get our local track up and running again.
