Just a moment ago the link to this petition was re-tweeted by Jackson Galaxy (My Cat From Hell on TLC) to over 73,000 followers!! Please continue to spread the word about this animal injustice on all social media. As I read through the comments I am amazed to see all of the support and very valid concerns! We have people from all over the world supporting, as well as local veterinarians, other healthcare professionals, vet techs, and former 4H-ers who agree that this goes against anything that should be taught by 4H. I did e-mail the board and asked for a response. I received one stating that they know about our petition, and that they will take the pros and cons into future grandstand events. This is great news, actually, but we need to push forward to get the 2015 event, which is in just 2 months, CANCELED! Also, a petition has been started by someone who is PRO Pig Wrestling in Whitley County- it stands at around 600 signatures.
