Stop the terrifying event of Pig Wrestling in Grant County, Indiana
The Issue
Grant County Indiana 4 H Fair board, Grant County Council and Commissioners and the misguided citizens where is your common sense, your compassion for another sentient being, where is your example of leadership and guidance in teaching respect and reverence for quality of life? We the undersign are asking that you no longer allow the event of pig wrestling at the Grant County 4 H Fair June 21-27 and thereafter. How is it justifiable for a group of people chasing a terrified animal with probability of injury, broken limbs and death and call it fun and a sporting event? Please join Delaware County, Indiana and possibly Whitley and Noble Counties, Indiana and end endorsed animal cruelty.

Two weeks to go and the pig wrestling event is still scheduled for Wednesday June 24th at 7:00 PM at the Grant County 4 H Fair in Indiana. We have not heard a peep from the County, City, Fair Board Association and Grant County leaders in regard to ending the cruel and barbaric pig wrestling event. I believe they are hoping we will just go away. Many attempts have been made to reach out to the Grant County 4 H Fair Association on their Facebook page only to be promptly deleted and I have been personally blocked from trying to post this petition.
Is it too late to plead our case? I hope not as we have until 6:59 on Wednesday the 24th. Below is some contact information of who is involved and who might care. Please help by forwarding your concerns, opinions and pleas and let them know we are not going away. Thank you so much for your support and thank you Mary for your reassurance and encouragement.
