Mustangs and burros face major disaster in coming years if we don't stand up for their protection now. These animals are supposed to be federally protected, according to the 1971 WFRHBA. However, BLM removes thousands from their designated homes in the wild and there are 50,000+ once-wild horses held in cramped corrals at taxpayer expense. We MUST stand up for these American, historical icons and:

-End traumatic helicopter roundups, use bait trapping instead.

-Implement humane reversible fertility control darting for herd management.

-Use tax dollars given to BLM for range improvement.

-Return captive mustangs and burros to the range and remove privately-owned livestock from public lands, placing them back on private ranches.
