The people of British Columbia recognize the need for good paying jobs and  at the same time want to protect the environment. We all see the need to sell our resources  world wide but also believe it is important we create value in our resources by refining our products here at home before we ship them off.  We believe that in creating employment opportunities for the people of British Columbia. We believe in creating good paying jobs that will create  tax revenue for the government to invest in improving the education, health and infrastructure systems of this beautiful province.  

There are two companies that are applying to develop and operate a state-of the-art designed oil refinery to process Canadian Oil in British Columbia.  Both parties are stating they will have the cleanest upgrading and refining sites in the world.  Combined both investments could create up to 10,000 direct and indirect jobs to develop, operate, maintain and supply the refinery right here in British Columbia.

Those who have signed this petition below believe the people of British Columbia deserve to know where the political parties who wish to form government in May 2017 stand on the development of these good paying jobs.
