Taiwan’s justice system is no longer about justice—it has become a tool of political persecution under President Lai’s administration. On March 20, 2025, the court will decide whether to extend Dr. Ko Wen-je’s detention for the fourth time, despite seven months in custody without trial or evidence.

Even when Ko’s father passed away, he was granted less than 84 minutes to attend the funeral before being forced back into detention. This is not just cruelty—it is a disgrace to justice.

Now, an 80-year-old man, accused of bribing Ko, is also being held in pretrial detention despite maintaining his innocence. He suffers from kidney disease and relies on a urinary catheter, yet without full-time medical staff, fellow detainees are forced to assist him. This is not just neglect—it is inhumane. Prosecutors have even threatened to shut down his business, applying extreme pressure to force a confession.

Yet after seven months of detention under Lai’s administration, no cash flow evidence of bribery has been found. No trial. No proof. Just endless detention and abuse.

This is no longer just about Ko Wen-je—this is a human rights crisis, and Taiwan’s democracy is in grave danger. We call on the international community to demand an end to these politically motivated detentions and judicial corruption.

7個月未審先關，毫無證據——賴清德政府下的政治迫害

親愛的支持者們，

台灣的司法已經淪為政治迫害的工具，在賴清德政府的執政下，司法正義蕩然無存。2025年3月20日，法院將再次決定是否第四度延長柯文哲的羈押，儘管他已經在沒有審判、沒有證據的情況下被關押了整整7個月。

甚至在柯文哲父親過世時，他僅被允許短暫出席不到84分鐘的喪禮，隨即被強行押回看守所。這不僅是殘酷，更是對司法公義的恥辱。

更令人髮指的是，檢方還羈押了一名80歲高齡的企業家，指控他行賄柯文哲，儘管他始終堅持自己的清白。他患有腎臟疾病，須依賴導尿管，但看守所內卻無法提供每天都有醫護人員照護的環境。在醫療人員缺席的日子裡，竟然由其他收容人代為更換導尿設備，這樣的做法既不衛生，也嚴重侵犯人權！

更荒謬的是，檢方甚至威脅要關閉他的企業，施壓他認罪。 但在賴清德政府羈押7個月後，檢方依然拿不出任何資金流向的證據來證明賄賂指控。

沒有審判，沒有證據，只有無止境的羈押與迫害！

這已經不只是柯文哲個人的案件，而是台灣人權的危機，台灣民主正面臨嚴重威脅！ 我們呼籲國際社會、各大人權組織關注此案，並要求停止這場政治迫害與司法腐敗！
