I have been with my husband for almost 8 years and his ex wife had made false claims to child protective services but cps had ruled in her favor and labeled it founded. The judge had determined this was done out of malice and to be untrue. Child protective services has continued to use that against him after going through the qhole process show his innocence. My friend suffered a stroke and we have been caring for both of them for 2 years with absolutely assistance. I reached out to cps in hope to gain gardianship of him and raise him along with my 3 children. They removed my friends child and is keeping him from returning to us because of a angry ex made allegations that were false. A child has been removed from my home that I have loved and cared for because the father can't take care of him and allegations that cps has from his ex that has already been dismissed in the courts is not dismissed in child protective services. The are traumatizing a child that's already been through so much. I want my boy back and a law needs to be put in place to protect family's that are and have gone through the same as us. If a judge has rolled it untrue and false the cps should have to do the same. A investigation has been done and issue should been resolved but they are still harassing us and trying to use that against us and prevent him from coming back to us. With any other cases once a judge has made their rolling you can't hold it against them. Child protective service should be under the same guidelines as the court and police officers when it comes to dismissing a case. If we win this we will get our son back and cps won't have the ability to harass family's over false claims. We need to protect our children and the system needs changes to benefit families without trauma. Stop child protective services from harassing family's that already fought for their innocence.
