Danny Sancomb was fired as the men’s basketball coach at Wheeling Jesuit University on May 7th. Coach Sancomb was an All-American player at the school, an assistant coach who earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees at this University, and a very successful head coach. Danny led the Cardinals to the most recent Mountain East Conference Championship. During his tenure as head coach 100% of his players have graduated on time. There is a new administration at WJU and they are quickly turning the community and alumni against them.
