My daily experience as a wheelchair user is a constant battle with buildings that lack accessibility. This reality not only frustrates me, but also affects thousands of other wheelchair users who are increasingly finding themselves unable to access numerous public places.
We all deserve to have the same experiences. Every public building should  acknowledge and cater to the needs of different physical abilities. So many historic "listed" buildings can't be changed yet are used and so many people can't access them. 

 Equality act requires reasonable adjustments to be made yet I still see places not accessible enough or at all. It's not merely about compliance with laws, but about empathy, inclusion, and a society where everyone feels valued and respected.
