I am motivated to make this petition by personal experiences and the heartache of witnessing loved ones struggling. My beautiful aunt, who meant the world to me and who we lost last October, had to face countless challenges in her day-to-day life due to her wheelchair-bound condition. As a dear member of our family, it was heartbreaking to see her struggle, especially in an environment in which people claim it is "fully accessible"

Not wheelchair-friendly environments in our world is not just an issue that affected my aunt. It is a daily battle for many individuals; their right to education is destroyed in some strong ways by physical barriers. Nearly 2.7 million people aged 5 and over use a wheelchair. Despite this significant number, many of our schools don't commit to be fully accessible, making  navigation within the school area a hard task for kids who are using wheelchairs.

Let's work together for a town that values every citizen, regardless of their physical ability, where all schools are wheelchair accessible. Making wheelchair accessibility in all public spaces is a matter of human love and equality. So, who will join me, and many more to make all of our public schools wheelchair accessible?
