What is HOPE? Mental Health Awareness Campaign

What is HOPE? Mental Health Awareness Campaign
The Issue
My name is Caro Tejada. I am a survivor of mental illness and domestic violence, struggles which are often intertwined. Through experiences of intense hardship, I've chosen to channel my resilience and healing journey into advocacy as both an artist and a social activist. With the upcoming initiative: "What is Hope"? I aim to foster a profound change in the community through mental health awareness.
This campaign will launch in New York City, on October 10th, 2025. I will be introducing mental health awareness support pins as a tangible symbol of unity, understanding, and solidarity in the battle against mental illness and the advocacy of health.
I am not merely an advocate for mental health—this is a call born out of necessity, driven by personal experience and passion for fostering a healthier community. Together, we can create a network of support that underscores the importance of mental well-being.
Join us in this mission to light up New York City with hope, understanding and positive change. Sign this petition and stand with us to prioritize mental health in our community, while reducing mental illness.
What is Hope? (A book from children to children) Will be launched on October 10th, 2025. Sale proceeds will be reinvested in community initiatives.
