Your support for my petition is not just about me; it is a fight against oppression, hidden crimes, and injustices that strip away dreams, ambitions, and the lives of the vulnerable. It is a victory for the voiceless and those silenced by fear, whose cries for help remain unheard until they dare to step out of the shadows—only to face even greater threats.
My name is Abderrazak Akouchad, a gay man who fled Morocco, a country where my identity put my life at risk. I sought refuge in Brazil, hoping for safety, but what I found here was unimaginable tragedy: harassment, homelessness, racism, exploitation, and an overwhelming sense of danger.
I have endured:
Discrimination due to my identity and race.
Harassment in unsafe shelters where I was abandoned.
Assaults and threats of violence on the streets and in shelters.
A society that marginalizes foreigners and leaves them without meaningful support.
I am now living in a homeless shelter under dire conditions, without work, income, or hope. Every day, I fear for my safety, facing racism, phobia, and hostility from all sides. My dreams of a dignified, independent, and safe life are being crushed.
Your support for this petition is a stand for those whose rights have been stolen, whose voices are drowned by oppression, and who only seek the chance to live freely and safely. Together, we can fight for justice and bring hope to those who need it most.
Please sign and share my petition to help me escape to a safe country where I can rebuild my life and secure my right to live in dignity:
