Clock is ticking on  Leon Bailey  representing us. 

Time  is running out on 20-year old  Jamaican-born international super star Leon Bailey  to play for Jamaica. Few days ago England found a route on recruiting the services of Leon Bailey.They want him to play for them  in upcoming friendlies and  the worldcup . According media reports from the  British press ,Leon Bailey is qualify for the Three Lions because his grandparents possesses  British Passport .The Bayer Leverkusen player is revelation this season in the Bundesliga .He  was named Bundesliga player of the month for January . He currently have : nine goals  and five assist in twenty appearances . His club Bayer Leverkusen price to let him go club like:Ac Millan ,Arsenal ,Barcelona ,Bayern Munich ,Chelsea ,Liverpool and Manchester United is £100million. 

Kyle Butler 

Bailey's stepbrother 20 years old  Kyle Butler is set to ply his trade in Germany for the 2018/19 season of Bundesliga/Bundesliga 2 .He's currently playing friendly matches for Bundesliga club_Fortuna Dusseldorf.Fortuna currently leads Bundesliga 2 and is favourite  for promotion to  Bundesliga . 

Craig Butler 

Craig Butler  is father and manager of both players.He's the  Chief Executive Officer and the owner of the  Phoenix Football Academy .His position are that none of his sons and players  won't play for Jamaica until he sees a system and culture of play for the Reggae Boyz.Friday February 9, he was on Hitz 92 fm morning show the Sports Xplosion with Earl Bailey and Oral Tracey .He  revealed that he and Jamaica Football Federation president Michael Ricketts and other members had discussions with regard creating a position for the football for him .He said that position of Executive director with specific responsibility for :Player development,recruitment and the establishment of a national football system and culture.  He furture went on to say if he get such position his team will consist of  former players like  Ricardo 'Bibi' Gardener ,Ian 'Pepe' Goodison,Jermaine 'Jerry' Hue ,Walter 'Di Pearl' Boyd and Onandi Lowe. Because he believes those former players have  something contribute to our young talents.An interesting addition  to this conversation is that Craig Butler backed Michael Ricketts for president of the JFF over  Ambassador AB Stewart Stephenson,president of  KSAFA . 

What do we have to lose ?

Some will argue that he's holding his sons,players and country ramsom for his personal benifits . I like many Jamaicans don't see it that way .We see a person who means well for our football.When we have a man like Craig Butler saying Jamaica has the potential of winning the worldcup and that Leon Bailey will be better than Lionel Messi many folks say he's crazy but we the people call it ambition,vision and foresight .We should ask ourselves do we have a football system and  culture ? Who is the person with the best track record to create our system of play and culture ? So what do we have to lose ? We have nothing to lose because we've been losing for the past 20 years.

The economic benefits 

We have alot to gain from Craig Butler being our Executive Director of football. We will be getting alot more friendly matched especially at home .The private sector will be pumping more money into our football.Our players could be bought from our Premier League which will benefit us more . 

We  the public wants to see an end to this standoff with Craig Butler and the JFF. Twenty years ago we  had qualified for the worldcup .Put Craig Bulter in place now ,so 2022  and beyond we should not be talking about qualifying  for the world cup but advancing out of the group stages to quarter finals  regularly.Beliefs without actions leads to nothing .Craig Butler is not only a believer but his  track record  shows that he's a doer.We the people want Craig Butler to be appointed  as Executive Director  of our football program. 

We the people of Jamaica are calling on the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica President ,Howard Mitchell  to intervene . If Leon Bailey  play for any other country we the people will never forgive the JFF . We have alot to gain with Craig Butler .
