For over 4 years, this sidewalk has been broken and unusable. This hazard has put our community at risk of great bodily injury and has discouraged the patronage of our small businesses on West Main Street / the village as a whole. We have seen people fall, almost get hit by cars, and even a few people being struck by cars as a direct result of having to step around the broken sidewalk. Women with baby strollers, the elderly and children are amongst the most vulnerable populations that have been directly affected by this lack of regard by our very own government officials. Sign the petition today and let's express our concern and dissatisfaction with the slow and ineffectual response by State and Local entities in remedying this dangerous situation.
