Westway Pharmacy, has closed down a few months ago after serving the community for over 40 years. This includes crucial NHS and Pharmacy First services that many local residents rely on for their health and well-being. The staff of the pharmacy, who are known for their dedication and professionalism, have also been affected. We believe that the full reinstatement of these services is essential to maintain the health standards of our community, particularly with the increase in housing and demand in the area.

We will be reopening as a private pharmacy in the next few weeks and need your help and support to serve the community via NHS again too! 

We understand how heartbreaking the closure was for everyone and the current struggles you are facing, so we decided to reopen! Except this time we will be back stronger and better, with managing your medication online and further opening hours including late nights and weekends for our families and community! We will also offer Pharmacy First and GP to ensure your needs are met during all times. 

According to NHS England, pharmacies are an integral part of healthcare provision with over 1.6 million people visiting a pharmacy each day in England (NHS England). Furthermore, studies show that easy access to pharmaceutical services can significantly improve health outcomes (The Pharmaceutical Journal).

We urge those responsible to consider the impact this decision has on our community's health and well-being and call for immediate action to reinstate all services and the NHS at Westway Pharmacy along with its dedicated staff.
