I have got two replies from the westside auto in the Reasons for signing section. I would like to address them.

Dear Westside Auto,

When I buy the car I clearly asked about the quality of EV battery. You said it comes with 8years/160,000km warranty. That's one of the major reasons to buy this car. Because I noticed the battery doesn't give enough km per charge I went to Melville Mitsubishi (where the car was originally sold and an Authorised Mitsubishi dealer in Perth). They have confirmed the battery is worn off, replacement recommended and the warranty has expired.

As a consumer that is enough reason for me to ask for compensation or replacement. Because in the first place you have lied to sell the car.

Yes, you have offered me a solution. I have accepted and also I have clearly asked me to explain what you are going to do with the car before towing away. You are failed to reply to me and the tow truck never showed up. I have left the car at my address and used a rented car to go to work.

No, you didn't offer me a loan car for free. You indirectly asked me to remove my review on productreview.com to do that.

I do not have any faith in your business after you kept my car for two days doing nothing and lied about the broken bolt.

So in this whole single sale, you have lied to me twice. I would not want to let you have my car again. Because I don't know what you will do to the car and what kind of lie you are going to tell about that.

I'm not intentionally ruining your reputation. I'm just fighting for my purchase. If you don't want to contact me or write any emails just post me my cheque. I will remove all reviews and this petition. And if it is a full refund I will drop the car within 24 hours at your warehouse.

And for a side note, knowing me being a male customer and calling me "her" in the reply is a good example for my followers to understand the moral of your business.

See their responses below.

Thank you.

Amila has removed this comment a few times as he does not want the public to know the full story that the ball is in his court and we are waiting for him to send the report.

So the public can know this was the previous post that was removed by Amila:”

Dear Change. Org Followers,
You are supporting a person who is not providing factual information on the situation with their vehicle. Amila is claiming that the battery is showing as depleted in a report when inspected by Melville Mitsubishi but is unwilling to give us any proof. Unfortunately as we are not the owners of the vehicle Melville Mitsubishi will not provide us the report and a such reliant on the report Amila claims to have but not provide. We also organised another booking for Amila to take to a Mitsubishi dealer to have another report done as we suspected never had an one. We also offered a loan vehicle but Amila refused both. We are asking Amila Udayanga Dodampe Gamage to do the right thing and send us the report from Melville Mitsubishi which states that they have carried out the full Hybrid Battery Test and the results show that the battery is below manufacture specifications. Once we have this report we will take the corrective action required to fix a problem if a problem exists. We are asking all the Change.Org followers to please help us get this report so we can proceed with assisting Amila.

Petitions are a great tool for customers to provide feedback so that we as a business know where we can improve and where we’re getting it right. Petitions that contain factually incorrect and personal accusations do nothing except mislead consumers. We are not too sure what outcome Amila Udayanga Dodampe Gamage is hoping for by leaving such defamatory accusations.
