The recent announcement that Vaping should be allowed in more public places is totally unacceptable. You cannot have missed the amount of vapour/smoke created by  using these Vape devices.  We also cannot be sure that using them is not causing harm to the body.  The law banning smoking in public places was created to protect the non smoking public and prevent people succumbing to serious illness and in many cases death. We have come to enjoy smoke free travel, nights out for meals, socialising, and I am convinced this has reduced the number of people suffering from smoking related illnesses, particularly cancer.  By allowing the increasing number of people using vaping devices into public places the fear is that more people will suffer from smoking related diseases and the extremely unpleasant experience of inhaling smoke which remains in the surrounding atmosphere for a considerable amount of time. Children and those suffering from lung diseases will be seriously affected. We need to persuade Parliament and the NHS that allowing vaping users into public places is a very retrograde step and can only lead to damaging the health of non smokers.  Failure to support this petition will lead to people like me who suffer from chronic lung conditions - I am a non smoker - suffer deteriorating health.  PLEASE help and  persuade Parliament not to take this potentially damaging step.
