We are petitioning Westminster City Council for the immediate reinstatement of the Porter's Rest on Piccadilly.

The Porter's Rest on Piccadilly was erected in 1861. This Grade II listed structure survived for over 150 years until Westminster City Council recently decided to remove it as a "general nuisance" but they give no supporting reasons for this decision.

We deplore the fact that Westminster City Council have removed an historic structure without following a proper procedure and without providing an explanation.
