Traders are hurting and have suffered a huge decrease in turnover since the boom gates were put in. This then means less hours and less jobs for the workers too. People are staying away, and employees are having to park in local residential streets. We can't even go to the local library or get petrol without going through the gates. If Westfield will not remove the boom gates then we will need an Act of Parliament to do it. We want to let Westfield know how upset shoppers are - and if they want customers, they better treat us properly.
