WWU Students For Lower Tuition

WWU Students For Lower Tuition
Western Washington students demand lower tuition for online classes!
WesternOnline (online versions of Western's classes) charges "$280 per credit" for tuition (found on https://online.wwu.edu/term-based-tuition-registration A student taking 14 credits would pay $3,921 for tuition. A student taking 16 credits of classes would pay $4,481. At this moment, out-of-state students are charged about $8,040 per quarter (not including fees and services), and in-state students are charged roughly $6,900 per quarter.
Western Washington University officially announced that they will be resuming online learning for at least 2 weeks at 2:50 PM January 10, 2022. They gave us less than 10 hours to drop classes, get a refund, and find new online classes. This puts us in a position where we're forced to pay full tuition for the exact same classes. On top of that, we're charged fees for services, programs, and laboratory classes that aren't running.
We demand tuition equal to the price we would pay for online classes that Western's online school already offers. Please sign, and share with friends and fellow community members.
