This petition is being made so that we can force university and colleges in Ontario to stop ignoring the growing financial and mental health crisis' in our province. So many students have: lost their jobs, are estranged from family (paying for school on their own), are collecting osap loans (and are thousands of dollars in debt), and also are paying for rent still even though school is remote. We are paying ancillary fees for resources we don't get to use. Full priced tution for worse education and self teaching the material. In some cases tuition has EVEN INCREASED. All while not receiving the support we need. This is more than unfair and is causing the whole province mental health issues. We are solely trying to succeed in our education and it is disappointing to see our government and corporations continuously only caring about profiting off of others. Someone needs to be held accountable and change is needed!
