Change Direction: Do Not Sue the Inn Again!

Western & Southern Needs a New Direction.

Why would a Fortune 500 company continue to sue one of Cincinnati's leading provider of affordable housing for women? Because Western & Southern wants the historic Anna Louise Inn building to turn it into housing that the working class will never be able to afford. The battle has gone on for two years, with lawsuit after lawsuit. It is time for Western & Southern to Leave the Inn Alone!

The Inn, which provides safe, affordable housing for hundreds of women in Cincinnati and houses the Off the Streets Program, which helps prostituted women find hope and healing and transformation, is vital to the welfare of our city.

All Western & Southern sees is $$. They want to seize the land to remove "those people" from their community and so they can put in new condominiums with a view that will house their kind of people. The working poor, and particularly working women, matter to God, and matter to the people of Cincinnati. It is time that they matter to Western & Southern as well.

I just signed the following petition addressed to: Western & Southern Life.

Don't Sue the Inn Again!

Western & Southern Needs a New Direction. This massive privately owned insurance company is suing the City of Cincinnati and Cincinnati Union Bethel (who runs the Anna Louise Inn) to prevent necessary renovations to the Anna Louise Inn facility.

A judge has ruled that the Inn needs to reapply for building permits with the City of Cincinnati. When and If those permits are approved by the city, we want Western & Southern to Not Sue the Inn Again!
