We have noticed a recent trend in the media ; the parties that are opposed to the idea of a greenway now railway when we can afford it are focussing a lot of energy on trying to stop the Sligo Greenway from happening from Collooney to Claremorris.  Why is this? Are they afraid the success the Sligo Greenway might have on the local economies?  Are they afraid that people will welcome the Sligo Greenway development.

Sinn Fein seem to be in a frenzy about stopping the Sligo Greenway, why is that? Perhaps you could ask them when they come asking for a vote in the region.
