We have an opportunity to influence policy on the Western Rail Trail, remember you signed the petition asking for a greenway!  Transport Infrastructure Ireland, known as , TII, are now in charge of greenway planning in the country.  TII  are asking the public to give views on the National Cycle Network in an on line questionnaire.   It's only a few multi-choice questions, until Question 7 when you have the chance to express a view in a limited amount of words.  Please go to the link below , fill in the form as you see fit and then let them know in Question 7 by saying (or use your own words)  “Please use the closed railway from Athenry to Sligo as a greenway and part of the NCN until such time as a railway is possible.”

It has to be completed by June 7th, it is anonymous and you can make as many submissions as you want.  Get going folks!
