One way we can all make the Sligo-Athenry greenway (The Western Rail Trail) become a reality is to help with stage one.  The Sligo Greenway from Collooney to Charlestown.   The Sligo Greenway co-op promoting stage one of the Western Rail Trail - is looking for members, It's simple go to the website https://www.sligogreenway.com/?fbclid=IwAR0Pzz69PSEUkTCqXhVC5SSqKwlY_tdyAj_DGpD-qlNUlpeP2nwa1OX7ZpY and follow the instructions.  Becoming a member (for as little as One Euro folks) will help the cause.  The Co-op is currently working on the submission to Government for full funding for the Sligo Greenway, so why not help them cover admin costs and marketing costs and become a member of the co-op.  No other commitment needed - just become a member today!  Many thanks if you can - oh by the way a one euro share makes you a member but why not buy ten shares!!!!  thanks Brendan
