As an MLA I have contacted the Western Health and Social Care Trust on a number of occasions about the removal of the Mobile Breast Screening bus from the Lakeland Forum. It is unjustified and an attack on our rural community. Expecting people to travel from Fermanagh to Omagh is unfair and in some cases, where people do not have access to transport or are disabled, it is not possible. No additional transport provision has even been made or mentioned. This is a lifesaving service and we need the Western Health and Social Care Trust to reinstate it as a matter of urgency!
