These are some very good reasons to save and restore the beautiful Aetnaville Bridge- it is eco-friendly! And more people than one would think do not have cars nor a drivers license, or can't drive due to age or injury. The elderly would be affected, and moms! And dads too, I saw one on the bridge the other day and took his picture. Why live a sedentary lifestyle? Why not walk on the beautiful bridge instead? While we are moving into the future, some beautiful things from the past need to be more than just memories, especially one that serves such a positive purpose- right now! It's not an abandoned structure falling into the river, it is a popular pedestrian footwalk, biking and jogging path/trail! And the north end of the Island would be left vulnerable, with no exit, without the bridge.
