"I would be disgusted if they destroyed that bridge. I see too many of these old bridges go to scrap. The beautiful part of our American history, or what is left of these beautiful bridges and structures, slowly being erased from history. The ones that are spared and turned into pedestrian bridges are like works of art from another era. I do not live anywhere close to this bridge but I beg whoever makes the decision on the fate of this bridge to listen to the people who see value in this bridge in more ways than one.
