**Note regarding petition figures: we are getting paper signatures also! (3,300+ combined as at 24/11/25)**

In view of the massive loss of life and wholesale destruction in Gaza and the West Bank, we are demanding that the West Sussex County Council Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS)

1. Disinvest in companies that are the following:

• arms companies supplying Israel with weapons and military technology
• companies providing infrastructure for Israel’s unlawful military occupation of Palestinian land
• companies conducting business activity in Israel’s illegal settlements on stolen Palestinian land.

As documented by human rights organisations, WSCC pension fund currently invests in 10 such companies. This fact was exposed last July when the Palestine Solidarity Campaign received a reply from WSCC to its Freedom of Information request.

2. End procurement contracts with companies complicit in Israel’s attacks on Palestinian human rights, including those that provide financial support, (as revealed by the 7/2024 FOI response.)
