To our knowledge, the Trust frequently and urgently require an increase in the staffing levels on the wards and units at West Suffolk Hospital. We are lucky enough to receive a 50% uplift when times are at high-struggle to meet the staffing demands, however staffing levels may benefit more if bank shifts were paid on either a weekly or fortnightly schedule. I believe all staff thrive to help as much as they can with the high-demands, yet we may have more incentive to do so if we received the money we earn much sooner than near the end of the following month.
