Object to plans for 76 additional houses on Marham Park instead of a leisure facility.

Object to plans for 76 additional houses on Marham Park instead of a leisure facility.

The Issue

Countryside developers have put in a planning application for 76 new houses on Marham Park.  The site was originally being marketed for sale as a leisure site but this is now being changed.

Marham Park residents feel that they have been mis-sold the “village style” environment, as significant changes have been made from the original master plan.  The school (not happening – now houses). The village centre with several amenities (now just a shop with flats above it, due 2022), an indoor leisure facility (now proposing more houses). There will be nowhere indoors where community groups can meet on Marham Park and many of the promised facilities have been stripped away.

Please sign this petition if you object to more houses and would like to see leisure and community facilities on Parcel P (Sandlands Drive).
