For a proper and quality redesign to West Ham United new badge.

For a proper and quality redesign to West Ham United new badge.
El problema
This is a petition directed at the owners of West Ham United FC, Mr. David Sullivan and Mr. David Gold, from local fans and fans overseas who were unable to vote on the current and inminente new crest consultation but as dedicated and lifelong supporters of the club would still like to have a say on the matter. We know we are moving to the new Olympic Stadium, that may be be sufficient reason on its own for our crest to change since it's like a new beginning but the revealed and proposed design is an embarrassment to our beloved club.
Our current crest is a classic design, and although it has evolved over the years, it does illustrate our club's historical association with the Boleyn Castle and with Thames Ironworks FC in the form of the crossed hammers. The design speaks of our passion and history. We think we deserved a proper and quality crest to show the world of football, that regardless of change, good times and bad or times when nothing changes, that our support, morals, beliefs and dedication to the club will never change. This should be illustrated in our new crest not conforming with a simpler is better design.
The new crest has been listed as one of the worst redesigned crests: ''West Ham have released the proposed design for their new club badge, and it could well be in the running as the worst one ever designed''.
It has already met with scorn from supporters, who say that its simplistic design and font make it look like something from a primary school badge, or a computer game. Their soon-to-be-old Boleyn Ground has gone from the design as they prepare to move to the Olympic Stadium, to be replaced by the word 'London' (just in case their supporters forget where they live); meanwhile the club's name is written in what appears to be Arial Bold, with a Photoshop gradient fill. Finally, the hammers look like two ducks that have fallen out with each other.
Since the changes and evolving time is inminent we just want a quality redesign like the well made with Everton Football Club after the fans petition. Nothing changes about our club with this move. The fans stay the same, the players the same, and the passion just as extreme as it has ever been. But that means that, other than a simpler redesign we deserved the due respect towards our values and passion.
We sign this petition to show the club what WE as the fans think. It may be late but you know better late than never!
COME ON YOU IRONS!
