We, the people of Palakollu (West Godavari District, AP) kindly bring into your notice the threats faced by wandering of Pigs in the streets of our town which is affecting the public health.

 Pigs roam in the streets of Palakollu a dirty problem from decades, a big threat to Public health.

We have been seeing this free flow of pigs in the streets of Palakollu from our childhood. No action being taken by Government authorities despite many people had severe health issues, affected with diseases due to street Pigs in Palakollu.

Few weeks back people of Palakol suffered from cholera, vomiting and diarrhea.  The residents of Palakollu fear that wider ramifications of pigsties in residential areas. People of Palakol, particularly kids have been affected with viral fevers and diseases many times. People complained but municipal officials could not take any action against them due to alleged political interference's.  

Stray pigs posed a serious problem to public health in Palakollu. They roam about the streets living mostly on organic wastes in the dustbins. Though pig owners make a good money on them, they hardly spend anything on their maintenance.

We are not asking to kill the street pigs. But we are asking the concerned government authorities to take necessary actions to ensure owners maintain pig forms in the outskirts of the town. Pig owners to be told to confine them to their premises.

Enough Now , Kindly stop wandering of Pigs in the streets of Palakollu and save people health .
