Okay SO before you write this off as students being lazy and just not wanting to finish their classes; please understand that this has been so stressful for EVERY college student. As many of us know, majority of Pennsylvania colleges have decided to move the rest of the 2020 Spring Semester to all online classes. It unjust that they just ripped this semester away in the blink of an eye, leaving thousands in a panicked scramble, many going back to toxic homes where they don’t have what they need, and THEN expect us to all somehow adapt to the rest of our semester online in the matter of two weeks. NOBODY was prepared for this, and it’s not fair to expect so much of the students or the teachers. When the state decided to close all the schools and kick everyone out in a panic, they should’ve just ended the semester and passed us all, let the seniors graduate and let everyone else figure out what they’re going to do now. Online classes will drop an extreme amount of GPAs due to many students struggling with online learning. We took our classes on campus for a reason. With all the stress and chaos the corona virus has brought, and with all the things it has taken from us students including our housing, routine, friends, and entire spring semester, (some students their SENIOR YEAR), the school should just pass all currently enrolled students and end the semester immediately. This pandemic has been a tragedy, and has negatively effected the lives of so many. Having to now scramble to finish classes that are not even going to be close to the quality we paid for, and will now be MUCH harder due to forced online learning, simply is not practical. Sign this petition in order to agree with passing all currently enrolled students and ending this awful Spring 2020 semester immediately!!!
