We are students, former students and parents who value unique teaching styles and a love for education. For these reasons, we support Eagle High School teacher, Clay Hatfield. Clay has encouraged, inspired and enlightened thousands of students during his tenure at EHS. We support his desire to continue teaching.  

Mr. Hatfield's dedication to his students has already been expressed through a Facebook support page that has garnered 748 supporters in under 8 hours of the page being active.  One former student had this to say, i.e. "Hatfield was nothing short of a blessing in how much he helped Student Council excel over the years I was president as well as ASB president. He has done more for the morale and spirit of Eagle High than one can imagine."  This is only one of hundreds of people speaking out about what Mr. Hatfield has meant to them.

Mr. Hatfield has helped numerous students with college recommendation letters, being involved in Student Council, announcing at EHS sporting events, showing kids' equality in the classroom and how to actively EARN high marks in the classroom with his teaching style.

This petition can make a difference to show the West Ada School District that Mr. Hatfield's students NEED him and he needs to be able to continue making a difference in their lives.  And that will ONLY happen if his suspension is re moved and he is allowed back in the classroom to do what he does best - Teach.
