West Ada School District planned to have high school graduation ceremonies on May 30th and 31st. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, they planned  to hold contingency graduation ceremonies on July 18th and 25th.

But on April 24th, West Ada sent out an email saying:

"...Graduation ceremonies will be on June 6 and will start with an online graduation ceremony...This blended graduation will replace the events that West Ada had scheduled in July due to concerns about being able to celebrate all students in the middle of summer along with the possibility that the large group events still won’t be able to be held in July."

West Ada doesn't plan on letting their seniors walk across the stage and receive their diploma after working towards it for 13 years. They made this decision based on no guidelines from the CDC or the President, because not a single organization expects this outbreak to last till July.
