Thank you Congressman Ben Cardin and Congressman Tim Kaine for supporting The Crown Act #CrownAct. S 888 is an important to alot of people in the DC, MD, VA area. It was surprising to learn that Senator Mark Warner is not a cosponsor of S888 along with the Majority Leader of the House Steny Hoyer was not a cosponsor of the companion Bill HR 2116.
Also for 2.5 million Americans and Citizens the Repeal WEP and GPO are crucially more important. That why it was surprising to learn that Congressman Ben Cardin, Congressman Tim Kaine, Congressman Mark Warner and along with Congressman Steny Hoyer are not cosponsors of the Senate bill S 1302 or House bill HR 82.
Congressman should support #RepealWEP also if they care about Americans and Citizens able to afford to live off their full SS please cosponsor S1302 / HR 82.
To the members of US House of Representatives and the sponsor of the Crown Act introduced by Representative Coleman thank you for supporting the Crown Act HR 2116 and Social Security Fairness Act S 1302, The Crown Act S 888 now heads on to the Senate.
Can the Crown Act includes no medical doctor waiver for men with pseudofolliculitis medical conditions be brought to the Maryland State House for vote and sent to the Governor so that employees employed by the State and County will not have to obtain medical waivers? Jobs in law enforcement requires a medical waiver every six months although you adhere to grooming standards that the beard be kept short and trimmed neatly?
I agree discriminating because of a person hair style is wrong. Like I previously stated I work in law enforcement and have to get a beard waiver signed by my doctor to wear a closely trimmed beard every six months. The conditioned known as pseudofolliculitis, where the hair is ingrown and causes an infection and skin is irritated on the shaved areas. This condition mainly affects blacks but other races can be affected as well.
This practice should be reverse also so that pspseudofolliculitis discrimination is introduced in the MD House in 2023 and to The United State Senate Bill S888.
The US House Representatives members on the Ways and Means Committee would be responsible for moving HR 82 to the House floor but first it would go to the Ways and Means subcommittee on Social Security then to the Senate. Their are 11 members on the Social Security subcommittee that are not cosponsors of HR 82. Including John Larsen who sponsored HR 5723 Social Security 2100 A Sacred Trust.
Please request that all 11 US House Representatives cosponsors HR 82 Social Security Fairness.
To U.S. Representatives and Senators on behalf of 2.5 million citizens affected by WEP and GPO please move the Bills to repeal WEP and GPO to the floor.
