As you may or may not know, Wentworth has recently changed its grading policy. Unfortunately, this change only benefits freshman and future undergraduate students. The old WIT grading scale was extremely hard to maintain marks while the new grading system makes high marks easier to achieve. This diminishes the proportional value of the previously earned grades by upperclassmen. This is extremely important, especially when looking for CO-OPs and jobs after graduation as it will be easier for future students to come out of Wentworth with better resumes despite having the same challenges in the classroom. I believe it is in the students' best interest to require WIT to retroactively change grades based on the new scale. This will make the grade scale fair to all students and will supplement upperclassmen for the previous challenges of the old grading system. If you feel that Wentworth should retroactively transfer grades from the old grading scale to the new grading scale, please sign this petition.
