Our campaign to save Swansea Sound has hit the press

Thanks to you and all the support you've been showing towards our campaign to save Swansea Sound.  The press has now picked up on our plight and has published a story on Wales Online.  It gives a clear understanding as to the negative and disastrous effects the closing down of Swansea Sound would have on Swansea and the surrounding area. It's an interesting read and thanks to Lucy at Wales Online for taking the time to hear our story.

At the time of writing this, we're nearing 2000 signatures which has totally blown us away.  You can also join in the conversation, make your views known on our Save Swansea Sound Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/saveswanseasound/

With your help, we are doing everything we can to save our local station.  If there's anything you can do to publicise our campaign please get in touch through our Facebook page, and don't forget to tell friends and family who may not have internet access.

We must re-iterate that this campaign is totally independent of Swansea Sound and is being organised by people who have either worked there or grown up listening to the station.

Remember use #saveswanseasound across social media if like us you feel as passionate about keeping your radio station local, made by welsh people living in Swansea who know the area and know the Welsh culture, otherwise just like the Mumbles train, once it’s gone it’s gone forever.
