Severn River Crossing PLC have been earning £8m and £10m a month through toll fees.   Government are planning to reduce these fees by taking off the VAT for a short period of time, then scrap the fees totally by the end of 2018.

We understand the Welsh Economy will benefit in many ways through this.   Tourism and New Business coming into Wales.  Which is wonderful.

We have all paid high toll fees for many years, why don't we, as a nation who love our National Health Service and all the benefits we enjoy that other countries don't have, push to continue to pay just £1 for the crossing.

From the figures published we could be seeing a profit of 3 million a month.

Let's put this straight into our struggling National Health system, let's - as a nation, show our doctors and nurses we care by opting to continue to pay every time we cross the bridge in support of the amazing work they carry out daily.
