Goldfish are being given away as prizes all over the country. It is an old tradition that through education has been realized as a cruel and selfish act. Goldfish are complex creatures that can live up to 20+ years and grow to somewhere between 25-45 cm and therefore they don't deserve to be handed out in tiny plastic bags to someone who has won one on an impulse buy. I want this to be 100% stopped worldwide and to educate people on the complex needs of a goldfish.
