The old railway is completely overgrown and would be perfect as a walk but, people do own parts of the route, it should be made a public right of way to overcome that issue.

You could argue that the canal walk is serves that purpose but Evan after 5 minutes of rain it becomes almost totally unusable, the path would go from Trevor to llangollen doctors clinic.
