For an immediate 10% pay rise for health, care and key workers

For an immediate 10% pay rise for health, care and key workers
Health and care workers have lost up to 23% of their pay in real terms since 2010 and are working in intolerable conditions without adequate PPE and with insufficient testing.
We call for:
· An immediate pay rise of at least 10% for health workers, care workers and other frontline workers + hazard pay to workers working with suspected Covid-19 patients
· All key workers to have pay levels restored to the 2010 level
· For local industries to transfer production to PPE under public ownership
· Trade union control of PPE production and distribution
· Trade union control of testing
· Support for health workers and care workers taking action to protect safety
· Support workers who take action in solidarity with health workers, care workers and other frontline workers
· Call for the Thursday clap for health-workers to demand “PPE” and “Tests For All”
