For many years the Talbot Green community and those visiting the area have fallen victim to the precarious and inequitable fees imposed by New Generation Parking Management when parking at Ely Valley Road car park.

The local Independent party in Talbot Green have acknowledged this issue and urged residents and visitors alike to park with caution. This is not enough.

This issue will never be resolved if we do not act sensibly and address the route cause. We cannot stop New Generation Parking Management from issuing parking tickets but we can encourage the Welsh Assembly Government to act in the public interest.

Please sign this petition in favour of the Welsh Assembly Government supporting a Compulsory Purchase Order [CPO] to acquire the Ely Valley Road car park and put a stop on the hostile activities displayed by New Generation Parking Management.
