Citizens in, and around ,Wellington, Florida: there are plans yet again to bulldoze what precious little natural life we have left in our area. Ever since I first moved into the Binks area as a child around 1996, I have seen the bulldozers and construction topple more and more trees to make room for development of shops, restaurants, and apartments we DO NOT need.

As an example, the proposed restaurant (BJ's Brewhouse) would open close to several empty locations, including a now defunct Macaroni Grille less than walking distance away in front of the Wellington Mall. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. I am tired of seeing scared and confused wildlife roaming into heavy traffic as it is. We need to put down our foot and question these projects approved by the Council! 

We do not need more development! Especially in the area around the Wellington Green Mall, a part of town once home to amazing clusters of wildlife and a few farms along 441. We already have many empty shops, empty apartments, and empty restaurants! Reject this proposal outright and send a message: stop developing over what made Wellington so beautiful!
