Due to being located within a leisure centre which had had to close our Charity nursery had been forced to close . The council will not allow us to open even though nurseries are allowed to open to provide care for children and there families . They have informed us they can not use public funds to open the leisure centre and that it is not safe within the current climate. Even though the government have stated it is safe for early years settings to open .  This decision by the council means we are one of the only nurseries not open and that the well being of our children and families is being put at risk as well as our nurseries future. We have already lost families to other nurseries as they need childcare for their children  .
