The Mollusk is a masterpiece of an album, yet the vinyl reissue is plagued by mediocrity. The original pressing is dynamic and highlights the incredible mixing of the album. The reissue sounds like a cheap copy. Plain Record's pressings all have problems, and ween's other label, Schnitzel, has quality pressings. We move to transfer the pressing rights of The Mollusk over to Schnitzel, so more vinyl enthusiasts can enjoy this album in its former glory, without paying so much for an original pressing. The objective as it may seem is quite simple, we simply would like for the pressing rights of the record to either extend or fully go to Schnitzel records so that these pressings can be sold either on the website by Ween themselves or by Shnitzel on their website.
