The Weehawken pool was first opened in August 2021. This is now the 3rd summer that it will be open. It is supposed to be a Weehawken residents pool with access granted to other NJ residents as well. 

The town management now announced that for the summer of 2023 they have yet to roll out a ticket/membership system. So they will simply open it up for ALL NJ residents for FREE. This is NOT a plan. This is NOT how a pool is managed. 

This will turn the pool from a fun family activity to a crowded madhouse with people from all over NJ trying get access to a FREE pool. Why is the ticket/membership system not yet set up? Where is the priority for Weehawken residents? 

We need to call the TOWN MANAGEMENT and MAYOR office to demand action. This is completely unacceptable.
