During the COVID-19 pandemic, students are under extra economic pressure and parking tickets, which serve as a tax on students that cannot afford a parking pass, only exasperate this problem. On top of this, parking lots are almost never full, so it is inexcusable to ticket students for parking in them when they are not causing any harm.

Webster students are burdened with too much at this moment and need relief. The WSSA has collected numerous statements from students about how this pandemic ticketing policy has exasperated their burdens, financial and mental.
