#WeAreUnited - PAC-12 College Athletes Demand Their Fall Eligibility

NCAA recently announced that all college athletes must be allowed to opt out of participation due to concerns about contracting COVID-19. If a college athlete chooses to opt out, that individual’s athletics scholarship commitment for Fall 2020 must be honored by the college or university.
It is now up to the discretion of our division and the PAC-12 to decide whether to return the season of eligibility missed due to COVID-19.
PAC-12 College Athletes across all schools, sports and seasons demand that any athlete whose fall season was cut short or decides to opt out due to the COVID-19 pandemic receive an additional year of eligibility provided before the start of the 2020-2021 school year and a reserved position on their team upon return.
The PAC-12 is a conference of champions, and we stand united in demanding fall eligibility for athletes who decide to opt out during the COVID-19 pandemic.
